Loose fittings on the valve boxes....

While working under the piano I noticed that a lot of the air leaks were caused by the fact that the pipes going into the valve boxes and various pneumatics were.... well, loose.


As in you could turn them. You can see this in the above picture of the duo art valve assembly, the left 3 tubes for the accompaniment are loose.

And so are the ones for the main air spill valve system


And the ones going to the reversing and repeat pneumatics.


And at the pneumatic itself.....


No wonder these things have problems.
