The history is interesting. My dad got it in 1975 or so as a project, and he, my mom, and I spent a year or two getting it restored. One thing I always remember was that he said he used hide glue "so when you have to do this in 50 years you can take it apart".
Well, that was 50 years ago and I was seven.
So when dad died and mom went to the retirement community something needed to be done with the piano and the 150+ rolls. After $6,000 in moving costs (also moved some toolboxes, a safe, and his Fisher stereo system) it arrived here at Chez Boo Manor in Maryland and here we go....
Currently it does run in a manner of speaking: I'll post a thread on that but a fair bit is working. Some things are not, but that's where the fun begins. Ultimately I expect to do a complete re-cover of all the pneumatics, but for now I'd like to take small steps and fix things to gain experience so I don't get totally lost and give up when it all comes apart.
There is a lot in there....
